With more than 200 performances in Greece and abroad, she is included among the most active artists of her region, with a repertoire spanning from baroque, classical, romantic, modern music to contemporary works of the Greek and international musicography. She has been honored for her contribution in arts and performances by the City of Rhodes, the Prefecture of Dodecanese, the General Consulate of Turkey in Rhodes, the Cultural Organization of the City of Bodrum in Turkey, the Hellenic Red Cross, the International Association of Rhodes, the Literature Company of Dodecanese, a.o.. Her artistic works are regularly covered by the media in Greece and abroad.
Since 1998, she is also an active composer, scoring works of literature among others. In 2003 she presented her first CD single, with the work “Two Green Drops of Fire”, that was very well received and sold-out in Greece, Turkey and Germany.
Among the highlights of her career is the concert, «Mozart – Alternative Classic», held in April 2006 by the House of Europe in Rhodes, with arrangements of loved Mozart pieces for two pianos. Memnune was in charge of the arrangements and the artistic direction of the show, which included advanced computer generated effects. Of equal importance, was the tribute to the 100 years of Greek Operetta, that Memnune produced, tutored and performed, along with two sopranos, one baritone, and a female choir, in a concert that enthused the audience-full Municipal Theatre of Rhodes.
The pick of her performing and composing career was last summer, with the presentation, in a world premiere, of the Collection of 16 Symphonic Poems, op. 1, in a concert with works for piano and orchestra, titled “At the colors of that dawn”, at the Medieval Moat Theatre “Melina Merkouri”, in Rhodes, in cooperation with the Municipal Organization for Culture-Sports of Rhodes, with the participation of the orchestra Sinfonietta of Athens, under the direction of Giorgos Aravidis, conductor at the Greek National Opera and Director of the Hellenic Odeon, a percussion ensemble, and the Mixed Choir of Rhodes. The modern music work, with its variety of inspirations drawn from Eastern Mediterranean and Classical Music, received a warm welcome by both audience and critics.
